There has been a further relaxation in COVID-19 restrictions by Queensland Government specifically around the need to be vaccinated at venues and events. This means that attendees and volunteers at The Fling will not be required to be vaccinated.
However, attendees must comply with any current and future restrictions and directions issued by the Federal or State Government in relation to COVID-19 and at all times we ask that you maintain social distancing and practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of COVID-19
You are welcome to bring a camping chair and rug to sit on. limited seating is provided around the venue.
There are minimal shaded/sheltered areas across the site, please bring sunscreen and a hat.
The following items are prohibited at the event:

Sunshades, sun/beach umbrellas, tents and tables.

Reclining chairs, beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges.

Eskies and BYO alcohol.
You are permitted to bring a standard camping chair and/or rug. Reclining chairs, beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges are prohibited.

No alcohol can be brought onto the site – However Alcohol can be purchased onsite at the Red Dog Riverfront bar and consumed within the Bluewater Quay fenced perimeter.
You are permitted to bring your own food to the event however we do have a broad offering of food vendor’s onsite and we encourage you to sample the selection of delicious Celtic fare on offer.
Eskies will not be permitted.
Your littlest clan members can attend in a pram or stroller.
There are many free parking areas available throughout the city centre within easy walking distance of the venue.
